Abstract

In the paper presented investigations concerning the measuring sensibility of the adiabatic heat-pressure accumulation test are performed by using a well-known decomposition kinetic of a reference substance. The accuracy of the method has been proven by comparison with literature values for different substances.
In summary, the Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (hereinafter SADT) values obtained from the adiabatic heat-pressure accumulation are consistent with those of other methods and literature values. Therefore, the adiabatic heat-pressure accumulation can be used for the determination of the SADT.
